This lantern gives your dog or cat a place in the holiday again: upload one photo and we turn their face into a softly glowing portrait inside a golden halo, set in emerald holiday glass with poinsettias, holly, and a star above them. Their name and a line you choose sit on a scroll beneath. It charges in daylight and lights itself at dusk, so they are there every evening through the season — on the porch, by the tree, in the window. You see an exact preview before we make it.

What It Is

A cylindrical solar garden lantern, available in two sizes (9.25 in / 23.5 cm or 6.9 in / 17.5 cm tall), personalized with your pet's photo in a Christmas design. A wrap-around polycarbonate shade carries the artwork the whole way around: your pet's portrait in a Tiffany-inspired art-glass style inside a warm gold halo, an eight-pointed star above, deep-red and cream poinsettias, holly and berries, pinecones and snowflakes across a deep emerald lattice, and a cream scroll nameplate with their name and your chosen line. The shade sits in a cylindrical metal body with a brushed antique-copper finish, a half-round carry handle, and a round solar disc on top. At dusk the whole lantern lights from within.

3. See the exact preview on screen before you check out. We make it to match the preview you approve — nothing is printed until you are happy with it.

• Body: a cylindrical metal lantern with a brushed antique-copper (oil-rubbed bronze) finish, a top cap, base ring, and a half-round carry handle.
• Top: round solar disc that charges the built-in rechargeable battery — no wiring, nothing to plug in.
• Weather rating: IP65 — rain, snow, sprinklers, and dust are fine; a small drain hole in the base lets water escape.

Care

Wipe the shade with a soft damp cloth; no polish needed. Keep the top solar disc clear of snow and give it several hours of daylight for the brightest glow. This is a soft accent and remembrance light — a gentle evening glow rather than a bright path light. It can stay out through winter rain and snow (IP65), though a sheltered spot during hail or a hard freeze will lengthen the life of any solar light.

Shipping & Delivery

Shipping is free to the US — the price you see is the price you pay. Because each lantern is made to your photo, it ships direct from our workshop: we make it within 1–3 business days, then tracked delivery takes 6–12 business days, so most orders arrive in about 2 to 2.5 weeks. For Christmas delivery, please order by December 3. For a memorial date, allow 3 weeks to be safe. Each lantern ships in protective foam packaging, and damage in transit is replaced free.

Will I see what it looks like before you make it?

Yes. After you upload your pet's photo and add the name, you see an exact on-screen preview of the finished panel before you check out. We make the lantern to match the preview you approve — nothing is printed until you are happy with it, so there are no surprises when it arrives.

What kind of photo should I upload?

One clear, well-lit photo of your pet's face works best — looking toward the camera, in focus, not too dark. A phone photo is fine. Avoid heavy filters or blurry, far-away shots. If your photo will not work well, we reach out before printing rather than guessing.

Can I use it for a pet who is still with me?

Yes. The design is the same; only the line on the scroll changes. Many customers order it as a Christmas gift for a dog mom or dog dad with their pet's name and a line of their own instead of a memorial line.

What is the Christmas order cutoff?

Please order by December 3 for Christmas delivery. Each lantern is made to your photo: 1–3 business days to make, then 6–12 business days of tracked delivery, so most orders arrive in about 2 to 2.5 weeks. Ordering earlier is always safer in December.

Can it stay outside in snow and rain?

Yes. The lantern is rated IP65 — protected against rain, snow, sprinklers, and dust, with a small drain hole in the base. Brush snow off the solar disc on top so it can still charge, and it will keep lighting itself each evening.

Does it really turn on by itself?

Yes. The round solar disc on top charges the built-in battery during the day, and the lantern switches on at dusk and off in daylight on its own — no switch, no cord. Winter days are short, so give it the sunniest spot you have for the strongest glow.

Can I ship it directly to someone as a gift?

Yes — enter their address at checkout and we send it straight to them in protective foam packaging. Many customers send one to a friend who lost a pet this year, in place of flowers; unlike a bouquet, it comes back every evening at dusk.

What if it arrives damaged?

We replace it free. If the lantern arrives cracked or the light will not come on, send us a photo within 48 hours of delivery and we ship a replacement at no charge — no need to return the damaged one. Because each is personalized, we cannot accept returns for change of mind, but any quality or shipping problem is on us.
