What the switch controls

When you opt out, we stop loading third-party scripts that share browsing data with advertising platforms. Today that means the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which we otherwise use to measure whether our ads led to a visit or a purchase. Any similar tool we add in the future goes through the same switch — opting out covers them all, automatically.

Opting out does not change what you can do on the site. Browsing, ordering, previews and checkout all work exactly the same.

Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out request and disable third-party scripts automatically — you do not need to touch the switch above. The switch is still useful as an extra, device-level opt-out that persists on its own.

What we still measure (first-party)

Opting out does not turn off our own first-party statistics: anonymous counts such as which pages are visited and where orders drop off, recorded under a random identifier stored in your browser. We keep these because a small shop cannot run blind — they tell us whether the site works. They are not covered by this opt-out because they involve no third party: the data goes only to our own server, is not connected to advertising platforms, and is never sold or shared. That is statistics, not data sharing.
