About the studio
We are a small team making keepsakes that carry light. Most of what leaves here has somebody's name on it, or somebody's face, and was made after they ordered it.
What we make
Suncatchers for windows and solar lanterns for gardens, in a stained-glass style. Some designs we keep stocked and ready to send. The personalized ones — a pet, a person, a family, a name — don't exist until you order them, which is why we ask for the photo and the spelling before anything is made. We ship worldwide, free, whichever kind you pick.
How an order actually goes
You send the photo and the name. We lay out the design and email you a proof within 2 business days. You look at it, and if the face isn't right or the name is spelled the way nobody actually spelled it, you tell us and we do it again. Nothing goes into production until you say yes. When it ships, you get tracking.
Changes at the proof stage cost nothing. That step exists because "close enough" is not a thing when the piece is somebody's dog.
Every one gets switched on first
The last step before a lantern is packed is the one nobody would know we skipped: it goes into a dark room, gets switched on, and someone watches it for about thirty seconds. Lit from behind, a piece shows everything a bench lamp hides — a stray mark, a panel sitting a hair off center, a seam where it shouldn't be.
If it doesn't look right lit, it doesn't ship.
The frames are assembled by hand, so no two are identical to the millimeter. We treat that as the point rather than as a defect — but "handmade" is not a license for a face that sits crooked in the window, so the ones that miss get made again.
What we won't do
We won't promise a delivery date we can't control. You get an estimated window, a tracking number the day it ships, and a straight answer if it stalls somewhere. If a piece arrives damaged or wrong, tell us within 48 hours with a photo and we remake it — you keep the original, there is nothing to send back.
Talking to us
Reply to your order email and a person answers — usually the same person who will be looking at your photo. Ordinary questions before you buy are answered on the FAQ page, and the longer ones — which photo works, what to write on a memorial piece — are in our guides.
